I just decided to turn this wiki system that I did for fun into my frontpage, for the following reasons:

  • I have multiple devices and I want to be able to edit everywhere, WYSIWYG is a bit chunky but I don't need to deal with all the git stuff and I don't need to jump between files edit in vim and such
  • There are more ideal options to me, like oscean or werc, but right now I don't have time to configure Uxn or Plan9 environment, so MediaWiki on Debian seems to be a good option
  • I managed to make this as a subdomain, but then I realized update a static front page is actually pain in the ass, then I just forward my front page domain to it

Works

Archive

I stopped making new stuff since May 2022, it's been two years, maybe I should get it filled ASAP

WIP

Works in Progress. Maybe most of them are going into Abandoned Works

Abandoned Works

Most of my works are here and they are never finished, and some of them are just ideas, they are all over my hard drive and I need to keep finding them

My Interests

I am in my early 20's and I think I just found out things I want to do, I think I took longer time than most people.

Music Composition and Instrumental Arts

I used be a DAW guy, and I did Music Tech for undergrad degree, then I want to move on with music but found midi is very limited

Operating System and Computer Architecture

I was into Computer when I was a kid, and I wanted to incorporate that into my music when I was a teenager, so I ended up becoming a Reaper/Renoise/Pure Data kinda of guy. Then I wanted to go deeper in Music Tech as well, seeing most of the Music Tech stuff are made by EECS people, and musicians are more in a customer side.
I am also a Linux user and Open Soure advocator even since when I was just a customer, then I was inspired by people like Devine Lu Linvega and Urial, and projects like suckless, Inferno, and Oberon, with the rise of RISC-V archetecture, I decided to seriousely study Computer Science, with specialization in Operating System and Computer Architecture, also at some time I want to feed it back to Music Tech after I made it.

Amplifier Circuit and Digital Signal Processing

I started making music mainly by making DAW-based music, so I started knowing this industry pretty well and then I knew Reaktor/Max/Pd soon after. The thing that made me really want to get deep into this is after I picked up a guitar, I was inspired by the products designed by BOSS, Fractal, and Line6.

Animation/Film Making and Game Design

I was mostly a reader, that I started reading things like James Joyce and Proust from very young age and I read bunch of Chinese/European/Russian Literature, I can tell well about any history I am into and Chinese/Western Pholosophy in general as well. Then I tried to become a gamer since I do feel that's something I missed in my childhood and I thought I was bad at it, I compensate this by playing mostly Rogue/Metroidvania/Soul-like games, and Monster Hunter. I do know well about Japanese film animation in the 80s and 90s, Mainland/Hongkong/Taiwan movies and essential films in the film history, I do see myself as a completely amature in film.
I went to Calarts for the Music Tech program, in a short period I was doing a lot of things in Intergrated Media and Film department, doing Motion Capture, 3D scanning, TouchDesigner, Microsoft Kinect and such, I found visual things actually have some possibilities for me to explore, then I learned Jitter and VVVV as well. I ended up want to make something with Blender+Rhino/Grasshopper+Unreal/Unity/Godot.
I am not into Modern Art.
